Fun Party Invitations

A couple of weeks ago, The Creative Sweet Peas team was working on some party invitations. Here's a fun blog post on how to make your own easy, fun, invitations for a slumber party. The first step on how to make your slumber party invitations is to to download the Creative Sweet Peas template, which you can download for free. After you download the template, print. Next, use your favorite color paper (card stock, scrap paper, what ever looks pretty) and cut out to match your template.

Next, get your favorite colored ribbon, (I used Pink and Green) and cut it out to be 8 inches.

After you cut out the ribbon, cut out two patterned pieces of paper (a front and a back) and cut out 1/8 of an inch of white card stock. Once you have two card stock pieces cut out, glue the ribbon to both ends of the card stock. Next, glue the two pieces of colored card stock to the front and back of the invitation.

Finally, glue the white card stock over the colored paper. You can glue your own information to fit on top of the white card stock for your party.
